01.- CONAVI nos informa que de cada dos venezolanos, uno no tiene vivienda adecuada, vive hacinado o en ranchos insalubres. Se calcula que 12,1 millones de personas tienen necesidad de una casa.
CONAVI reports that out of two Venezuelans, one does not have adequate housing, and live in unhealthy shanty settlements. It is estimated that 12.5 millions persons need a place to live.
02.- En 1997 se construyeron 91.979 viviendas. En 1998 61.795. En 1999 31.090. En el 2000, 23.152. En 2001, 22800, en el 2002 14.716, en el 2003 8.881 y el año pasado 11.234. Cifras aterradoras que desmontan todo el andamiaje de la propaganda oficialista.

03.- Las leyes que penalizan la expresión ofensiva dirigida a funcionarios públicos, generalmente conocidas como leyes de desacato, ATENTAN contra la libertad de expresión y el derecho a la información
The gag order penalize any offense directed to public officials, also known as laws against disrespect. The gag order is against freedom of speech and the right of information.
04.- En América Latina, países como Argentina, Costa Rica, Perú y Paraguay han derogado todas las disposiciones de ese tipo y otras naciones, como Chile y Panamá, están considerando reformar la legislación con esa finalidad, informa Human Rigth Watch (HRW)
In Latin American in countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru and Paraguay have revoked all dispositions against this type of gag orders. Human Rights Watch informs that other countries such as Chile and Panama are considering amend legislation to avoid gag orders.
05.- El año pasado - 2004- los Bancos del Pueblo Soberano y el Banco de Desarrollo de la Mujer registraron cuantiosas pérdidas.
In 2004, the popular banks "Bancos del Pueblo Soberano" and the Bank for the Development of Women registered considerable losses.
El primero arroja un resultado negativo de TRES MIL SETECIENTOS TREINTA Y SIETE MILLONES. Sus ingresos operativos suman 5 mil 556 millones, mientras que los gastos de personal y administrativos superan esa cantidad y se ubican en Bs 9 mil 293 millones. El 40% de los préstamos otorgados por dicho BANCO tienen graves problemas para su recuperación y repago mientras que en el resto del sistema financiero la morosidad es inferior al 2%.
The bank "Banco del Pueblo Soberano" reported losses of 3,737,000 million Bolivares. The income add to 5,556,000 while the personal and administrative expenses are between 9,293,000,000. Forty percent of the loans in this bank have fallen into collection and have been difficult to recuperate the funds and the rest of the financial systems has been slowed to less that two percent.
En cuanto al Banco de Desarrollo de la Mujer registró pérdidas por el orden de 1.477 millones y la morosidad de sus clientas anda por el 52%. ¡Ah Bancos bien buenos para ayudar al soberano, soberanas !
